OUR MINISTRY - CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The Christian Education offerings continue on Sunday morning. All age groups are invited to the program, "Christian Ed," which includes seven classes starting at 9:00 a.m. The classes offered are detailed below.

Little Lambs (3, 4 & 5 yr olds)

We are so excited to introduce a new class for 3, 4, and 5 yr olds! We are learning about God’s love and how He is always with us. Each week will be learning about God’s love through Bible verses, Bible stories, and fun activities. Please bring your little lamb to join our new class!

God's Kids (Grades K-2nd)

We are beginning a new unit (God Wants People to Do What Is Right) where we will learn to obey God's Word and ask God for His help to do what's right. We will be learning about Micaiah, King Josiah, Queen Esther and Ezra and Nehemiah. Our bible memory verse for this unit is "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart, do not let me stray from you commands." Psalm 119: 9, 10 Please join us as we learn more about the people of God through scripture, songs and crafts.

P.O.W.E.R Class (Grades 3rd-6th)
Positive Kids Obeying the Word and Encouraging Right Living!

The P.O.W.E.R. class, grades 3 - 5, is studying the teachings of Jesus and applying those to their lives today. The class is also working on memorizing the books and divisions of the New Testament as well as unit memory verses!

Jr. High

This class provides a biblical compass for the situations young teens face today. Come join the start of this exciting new class!

IMPACT Mornings (Senior High)

We welcome all senior high students to join us for our new series, "CHOOSE": a 4-part video series that focuses on making wise choices in a chaotic culture. What’s the most spiritual thing you will do today: Prayer? Reading the Bible? Serving? How we decide to express our faith is up to us. The power of choice is one of the most important elements of our spiritual journey. As teens, you are constantly faced with life-changing decisions in relationships and faith. This study gives biblical principles to help students make wise choices amidst a chaotic culture. The videos also feature behind-the-scenes moments with Christian Music Magazine’s New Artist of the Year, Family Force 5.!

ABOUT Christian Education Class

The ABOUT (A Bunch Of Us Together) adult Christian education class is doing an eight-week DVD study entitled, "Parenting on Purpose." Parents of all ages and those who are not yet parents are welcome to attend and join the discussion.

Disciple Class

Spiritual leadership can be exhausting! Pouring into others can deplete us and sap energy for the basic practices that keep us functioning best in our Christian walk. Ourseries of upcoming lessons will include a special section “Soul Care for Spiritual Leaders”. Join us as we study and discuss our need to pay attention to our human limits and live in the care of our Heavenly Father. We hope you will find practical help in understanding the Scriptures and applying them to daily life and ministry as we meet together. Adults of all ages are welcome!

Adult Class

We have started a new study called, "Triumphal Entry" to the "Ascension." This study focuses on the four Gospels from the week leading to the crucifixion through the 40 days prior to Christ ascension and Pentecost. Come join us in growing together and learn something new about Christ`s amazing love for you.

Young Adult Class

The young adult class would like to welcome any college students and young adults in our church to come out and join us in our Christian Education class on Sunday mornings. We will be beginning a new study on Basic Christian Beliefs next Sunday, June 28th. Hope to see you there! For more information contact Chris and Grace Byus at cgbyus@gmail.com.
